Professional Reflection
The voice of the Archivist is one of Practical Deduction. Unlike the warriors of other realms, the Archivist does not express shock at the impossible; they treat it as a logical problem to be solved through the application of the right metaphor.
We avoid "mysterious" or "poetic" fragments that try too hard to be evocative. Instead, we use the world's structural rules, the Paint and the Draft, as grounded, technical contexts for every observation.
Examples:
- "The Hub. The Grand Hall. The one place that still makes sense. I need to get in."
- "A surveyor's marker. Useless on its own. I'll use my Monocle to see beneath the paint: the Draft."
- "A Hinge. Logic both sides accept. I think I just built one."
