Description
The Archive of Unfinished Thoughts is a point-and-click adventure game built from scratch in C and Allegro. It draws inspiration from the "Golden Age" of Sierra adventures: King's Quest VI, Gabriel Knight, and the high-fidelity painted worlds of 1992-1993. You are not a warrior. You are a scholar. Your goal is not to conquer or categorize, but to understand: to find harmony between what exists and what has not yet been reconciled.
Imagine a world that was sketched before it was built. A Library where every brick existed as a drawing before it became stone. For centuries, it held together perfectly.
But beneath its foundation lies the Archive: a vault of thoughts that were never finished. Incomplete ideas. Paradoxes. Maps that contradict themselves. Echoes that arrive before the sound. Now the seals that hold the world together are cracking. The unfinished is bleeding into the finished, and reality is starting to forget what it was.
You are The Archivist. Your work is not to fight, but to understand. The Library is made up of five Wings, each a distinct region now touched by impossible ideas that have leaked from below. Use The Monocle to see the original sketch beneath the painted surface. Build Hinges: logical bridges that reconcile what is real with what cannot yet be understood.
