The Lens of Original Intent

The Monocle is the Archivist's primary tool of investigation. It allows its wearer to peel back the "Painted Reality" and reveal the Underdrawing beneath.

When looking through the Monocle, the world dissolves into a sepia-toned skeleton of lines and graphite marks. In this mode, interactive secrets appear as Gold Leaf Illuminations. The Monocle reveals structural truths: doors that were drawn but painted over, bridges that exist in the sketch but forgot how to be solid, and the raw "Ink Drift" where Flux is actively overwriting the original architectural draft.
