Engine & Audio Architecture

The project is built on a custom C99 engine utilizing Allegro 4.x for cross-platform compatibility. It targets a native resolution of 640x400 (16:10), preserving historical pixel-aspect ratios while scaling cleanly to modern displays.

The audio pipeline features a hybrid system:

• Digital: High-fidelity OGG Vorbis streaming.
• Synthetic: Native OPL3 FM Synthesis emulation.
• Real-Time Controls (NEW): Adjustable movement and animation speed multipliers (0.25x-2.0x) allow for optimized cadence matching.
